Little House on the Prairie Dinner

For my Birthday I got a Little House on the Prairie cookbook. A few weeks ago I said I wanted to make dinner. I made a list of all the ingredients. Then we went to the store and got all the stuff I needed. After church the next day I started baking. I made cornbread, ribs I didn't use sauce, just salt and pepper, apple turnovers, mashed potatoes, gravy, and butter. My mom did nothing exempt she told me the directions. I shook the buttermilk in a jar to make butter, but my arms soon grew tired. Then I just put the butter in the mixer. I still shaped the butter and squeezed the milk out. Everything was gluten free exempt the apple turnovers. I made separate ones for William. It was a good dinner. Everyone over ate. I think I will do this again. I did not get a picture because I forgot!
